Paroa Trust Mōhaka
Kaitiaki of over 1,700 ha of our ancestral whenua in Hawke’s Bay (Mohaka C12).
Welcome to Paroa Trust
Paroa Station is named for the tupuna Paroa, of Ngāti Paroa hapū within Ngāti Pāhauwera. In 1959, 45 to 50 landowners consolidated 20 blocks totalling over 1,700 ha (Mohaka C12) into a single trust, farmed sustainably for whānau past, present, and futures.
Built on Three Foundations

Farming the land with care for the environment and for those yet to come.
Whānaungatanga
Kinship and connection: the bonds of shared experience and belonging that bind whānau, hapū, and land.
Rangatiratanga
Self-determination and strategic leadership: guiding transparent governance, economic sustainability, and the protection of our ancestral heritage.
